Wedding Photography, South Farm, Hertfordshire :: Stephen & Hannah

On the morning of the wedding, in the bridal suite at South Farm where all the girls were getting ready, Hannah was telling me how she had become ever-so-slightly addicted to a particular website where she got a lot of her details from. From that point on I knew Ben and I would not be short of things to take pictures of (not that we ever really have to be honest) and I was not wrong. Hannah you did a great job with all your details. One of my favourites (and not actually one from the afore(not)mentioned site) was where you had managed to gather together old family wedding photos in frames and display them for your guests to see. Very nice.

Anyway here are some pictures from Stephen and Hannah’s wedding. Enjoy.

Wedding Photography Priory Barn, Little Wymondley :: Steven & Ashley

This wedding was all a little last minute from our point of view. We met Steve and Ash in November and we shot their wedding in December. We had to fit in their engagement shoot in the middle of that too! Despite the rushed nature of it all it didn’t affect how well we gelled with both Steve and Ash. These two are such a lot of fun. We had a little wander around Ware with then for their pre-wedding shoot and we realised very quickly that we weren’t going to be short of smiles for their wedding day.

Steve and Ash, we hope you love your photos.

Wedding Photography Knebworth: Sean & Kirsty Banks

Following our pre-wedding shoot with Sean and Kirsty last year we were really looking forward to this one.  Sean and Kirsty are just contagiously happy and so much fun.  The wedding was in a beautiful church on the grounds of Knebworth House in Hertfordshire and they are beautiful.  This was a really late wedding for a winter wedding so we had to be super efficient.  I took Sean and Kirsty off while Ben got all the guests out ready to do the confetti shot (which always takes time) and it worked really well.  The reception was at a local village hall and Sean (who is a tree surgeon/all round tree man) had managed to source four, three meter high trees for the hall.  He also manage to get some ‘nearly real’ grass for a little garden scene.  Bonkers and brilliant.  That kind of sums up these two.

Here are some shots from the day.

Wedding Photography Brocket Hall: Martin and Justyna

This was our first ever wedding at Brocket Hall and Ben and I were very excited about it. We would never even think of demanding any stately homes for our couple to have as their venues but we certainly don’t say no if they come along?

We had the opportunity to have a look around the venue with Martin and Justyna on their pre wedding shoot so we had a good idea of what we were going to have to play with, which is always good.

Here are a few photos from their day.For more photos of Martin and Justyna’s wedding have a look at their SLIDESHOW.

Pre-Wedding Photography Ware: Steve & Ash

Just when you think you can’t book anymore weddings for 2011, along came Steve & Ashley and booked us for December 3rd last month. By today’s standard a bit lastminute.com to book a wedding photographer, but they said it was because they just couldn’t find anyone they liked enough, so they either got tired of looking or really liked us :-)

We had a cracking time with them on their engagement shoot, in fact a barrel of laughs, check out there shoot here.

Wedding Photography Letchworth Hall Hotel : Gordon and Kerry

After our beautiful late-in-the-day shoot with Gordon and Kerry earlier in the year we were really looking forward to their wedding. I went with Gordon in the morning and basically got to go for a walk around a beautiful golf course while they played really rather good golf. It is a really nice way to start the day for the guy as getting ready takes such a short time compared with the bride and you don’t want to be sitting around twiddling your thumbs on your wedding day. Anyway, here are some pictures from their day.

Wedding Photography Bedfordshire :: Luke & Katie

“Where is Luke?” a question I posed when I arrived at the house in the morning. “Oh just at the bottom of the garden” was the reply “He’s having his breakfast”. Slightly odd but i assumed he could have taken his breakfast to the bottom of the garden to get some peace and quiet. Half of that was true but when I got to the bottom of the garden i realised he had not just popped down there with a cuppa. Luke had camped at the bottom of the garden with a couple of the groomsmen and was cooking his breakfast on a gas stove. I realised very quickly that this wedding would be a little on the different side!

What a day, what a couple! Not only are Luke and Katie fantastic but the families around them are superb. We had such a fun time from start to finish and even a little after the finish when Katies mum popped round with a good box full of all out favourite things. Sally had somehow manaaged to remember all the things we like from previous times we have been round the house: Jaffa cakes that we scoffed in her kitchen after Luke and Katie’s pre wedding shoot, chocolate fingers that we devoured on our first meeting at their house. Perfect. Anyway, enough of our box of goodies.

The wedding: I love RAF weddings, the tradition, the formality of certain parts of the day, I don’t know why but I just like it!

Here are a few shots from their day

Wedding Photography Offley Place :: David & Sarah

The were so many different parts to David & Sarah’s wedding, from calm surrounding at Sarah’s to a mini mariocart tournament with David’s brothers, we had so much fun not to mention the sweetie cart, I’m a sucker for jellybeans, big mistake saying I could help myself to those David and Sarah. The reception was at Offley Place nr Hitchin, herts. Having never shot there before we we pretty excited to get there, so excited that we broke our car on the way and spen the last 5 miles limping at 20 mph down country roads with the back wheel pretty much hanging off. Thankfully we were still quicker than the wedding car.

Thanks David & Sarah for letting us be a part of your big day.

Here’s a few of our favorite shots…

Pre wedding photography Brocket Hall :: Martin and Justyna

Martin and Justyna are getting married at the weekend at the rather splendid Brocket Hall. Ben and I have never shot a wedding there before and we are really looking forward to it. Here are a few shots from our afternoon in the sun with Martin and Justyna. At the time we thought it was some freak sun but it is looking like we could even get a nice sunny day in October at this rate!

Wedding Photography: Horse & Jockey :: Ian and Emma

Some people think that stress and weddings go hand in hand and there is almost an expectation of stress for the day. Ian and Emma are proof that that is a load of rubbish. These two set out to have a chilled out day and they nailed it.

I was with Ian in the morning, and don’t tell Ben, he’ll be mad at me because he was probably working really hard, but I spent most of my time watching the Formula 1 qualifying with Ian. It was great! People kept making the “joke” that the time of the wedding was arranged in such a way as to allow Ian to watch the whole qualifying session. I assumed this was a joke until Ian and Emma walked out of the ceremony to the old formula 1 theme tune, perhaps there is some truth in the joke.

Ben and I had such a good time throughout the whole day. This wedding was such a lot of fun. There was so much laughter and we love that.

Here are some images from the day.
