Pre-Wedding Photography Great Fosters Surrey – Matt & Hayley

We nearly didn’t make it over to Great Fosters Hotel for Matt and Hayley’s pre wedding shoot, the weather (gggrrrr), being its usual unpredictable self, threatened to put an end to our plans. However, we took a chance, drove through the storms around Bedford, and headed to Surrey. To our delight, when we got there the weather was perfect.

We had such a fun time with Matt and Hayley, Ben and I are really looking forward to this wedding.

Alex and Amy are a great couple. Ben and I had a great time on this shoot. We followed the same route that Amy could manage when she used to go out for walks when she was pregnant (so it wasn’t too long a walk!?). Alex and Amy are getting married at Pinewood studios later in the year, I don’t think a venue has matched a couple as well as it matches Alex and Amy; they are such films buffs. This wedding is going to be a fun one.

Wedding Photography Bedford – Micheal & Naomi

This wedding marks the end of an era for Ben and I. Our first ever wedding was a Clements wedding, where Luke and Rach took a chance on a couple of ginger blokes to shoot their special day. Since then we have had the privilege of shooting two more Clements celebrations: Nath and Dani and Josh and Hannah. This is the final Clements wedding we will ever do, which as I write this makes me rather sad. They have been an absolute pleasure, thank you so much.

The morning of a wedding can be such a special time and can also be one of my favourite parts of any wedding. Mike and Naomi’s was one of those times. I loved it. It was a mixture of being chilled out and excited at the same time which can be a tricky balance to get. They managed it. The rest of the day was filled with smiles (a lot of them from Naomi) so you can’t complain about that.

It may have been an overcast gloomy day but it didn’t stop us having some fun with Chris and Kate on their pre wedding shoot. Chris and Kate get married later in the year so we took the opportunity to get our wellies on and get outside. Here are some shots from our muddy walk!

Pre-Wedding Photography Sir Harold Hilliers Gardens, Hampshire – Gary & Debbie

This pre wedding shoot has been a long time coming. The first time round Ben and I turned up a month early was not a good start but I guess a whole lot better than turning up a month late! The next month it was raining cats and dogs and so we had to cancel. We had to wait until a bank holiday for us all to get together and we chose bright and early in the morning to do it. Gary and Debbie took us to their local(ish) woods which we really enjoys and it was such lovely light.

Debbie was a little nervous before the shoot but I think you will agree with me when I say she knocked this one out of the park. Gary and Debbie were both so relaxed in front of our cameras and I think that came from being so relaxed with each other. Great work guys.

After the woods we stopped off at a really cool bridge that had some insane graffiti, the contrast is, shall we say, stark! I love it.

Pre-Wedding Photography – Hitchin Priory – Ryan & Karen

We initially met up with Ryan and Karen about two years ago when they invited us to be a part of their wedding. I can’t believe it has finally come around. We are shooting their wedding this Friday at Hitchin Priory in Hertfordshire. We met up again yesterday for a little walk and to take some photos.

Pre Wedding Photography – Lavenham – Rich and Jane

Ben and I had the pleasure of having a little road trip across to Lavenham the other day to meet up with Rich and Jane at the Swan. We had a rather civilised pot of tea each and then went out for a little walk. Rich rather excitedly told us about a particular plan for their wedding day, I can’t remember whether it is meant to be a surprise for the guest so I will keep quiet for now. Suffice to say, it is going to be great.

After our recent engagement shoot with Jamie and Susie it was good to see them again so soon for their wedding day. Here are a few photos from their special day. Jamie and Susie had a Wizard of Oz inspired wedding, right the way down to some rather spectacular shoes that Susie wore. Great wedding, great couple, enjoy.
